Quality training makes for quality individuals, it’s that simple; and we do more to ensure that all our learners enjoy a quality training experience. The Skills Academy is proactive in ensuring that the components of each course, as well as our methods of teaching, are learner focused and meet the needs of the employment and regulatory bodies. We invest heavily in all of our staff to ensure that the quality of teaching and learning continue to improve and we have facilitated a Quality Assurance Framework to support this.
At the very heart of our Quality Assurance Framework is self-assessment, a powerful tool used to understand and articulate the issues that influence the focus and direction of the training we offer.
When it comes to recruiting our trainers, we select from a diverse range of applicants and we are committed to ensuring that recruitment and selection to the training programmes is fair, equitable and meets best practice.
Our trainer’s handbook gives an insight into the company core values and beliefs alongside the policy and procedures that underpin the standards of service delivery required by all who work on behalf of the company; and within the handbook is essential information regarding contracts, roles and responsibilities for all associates that must be adhered to.
We also look at the bigger picture to ensure a brighter future for all our members. Therefore, we actively work with external partners to maximise the impact of learning and development of skills and practice.
